During our first consultation we will sit and discuss what type of event you want (i.e. formal, casual, theme, et cetera). We will discuss timetables and tentative plans for the event's date, time, location and an estimate of the number of expected guests. These are general topics that will later guide how to develop the event. It also helps get the expectations of all who are involved out on the table for discussion. One of my responsibilities is to create an open environment where ideas can be exchanged and discussed in a positive and relaxed setting.

I like to have the bride and groom at the first meeting, so that I may introduce myself and get to know everyone. Later on we will have a larger meeting with all of the wedding party so that I have a face to go with the name. The groom is asked to attend the first meeting because he will be signing the contract eventually and I want him to be there when everything is initially explained.

The next important person signing the contract is the Paying Client. That title is pretty self-explanatory, but this is the person who will be financing this production. This person tends to be, but is not limited to the FOB (Father-of-the Bride). In the traditional wedding the POB (Parents-of-the-Bride) pay for the majority of the wedding, but the rolls can be switched and the POG (Parents-of-the-Groom) can pay for the wedding. Each wedding is different, thus the title Paying Client works well for all those concerned.

I represent the Bride and propose ideas and wishes to the Paying Client and POB. I will do everything in my power to have the Bride�s wishes carried out within the budget that has been set. I offer several solutions to help everyone feel their needs are being met.

Included in the payment of our first consultation is our specialized wedding or social event planning binder to keep a record off all the things we discuss and a place for you to make notes. The forms are designed to help layout the options of each vendor you use and see which options work for your event.

Besides the basic packages I offer, there are also other additions that can be added to customize your wedding or social event. I also let you decide how much of the wedding you wish me to supervise and handle. My goal as a wedding and social event coordinator is to create the vision that it is your mind.
